With love, life is beautiful. With love, every relationship will be more meaningful. Love has millions of meanings. Love always be there, no matter the age, time, and place. In relation to God, there are three main pillars, namely love, fear, and hope. Love to God is something that includes the perfection of love and submission. Many people who claim to love God, but many of them do not realize it properly.
What is love to God? Love to God is that God should be the most beloved of everything beyond ourselves, our families, our partners, our properties and all we have.
Why do we love God? Because He loves us before we loved Him. God created humans, then He knows what human needs. God created the reasons for the needs to be fulfilled. By loving Him, there will come grace of God.
Is God told us to love Him means to exalt? No, God is perfect, eternal and eternity, not reduced nor increased. If we do not love, do not adore, do not worship, or we come to Him with obscenities, God will not be threatened nor disabled.
For people who love to God, will automatically love to fellow of human beings. They will have very high humanitarianism. They will be merciful to others, considerate, compassionate, can not leave the sad, very cooperative, like to entertain others, forgiving and asking for forgiveness and so on. And those are human needs. God does not need these kinds of human love.
God told human love to Him because of its effects on humans instead of Himself.
God also ordered people to fear Him. Why so? Is God requires "afraid" from us?
When people understand and appreciate the power, courage, and justice of God then he will be afraid to Him. If you constantly feel being watched by God, then you would not dare to violate the laws of God and human regulations which are not inconsistent with the rules of God, anywhere and at any time. You will not be able to hurt the entire God's creations. You will not be able to do evil and crimes, both physically and spiritually, because you know "the God justice" will reply to any wrongdoing and disobedience.
